It is because a certain US demographic never stops crying. They try to blame all their failures on others, which has left them with no ability to improve their lot in life. And guilt ridden white people cheer along because it allows them to bully the lower classes.

@j3nnytool - You can get banned for saying being trans is a mental disorder which is best treated by identifying as the opposite sex, alleviating symptoms of gender dysphoria. And this is a fact. Being banned means nothing.

@j3nnytool - No, first of all, it can't 100% be explained by social pressure. Second of all, they have dysphoria as part of the condition. It's in the name, gender dysphoria. Do you know what dysphoria means? It's the opposite of euphoria, and it is inherent with the condition, otherwise they wouldn't need to pretend to be of the opposite sex. Why do people like you try so, so hard to make sure not a single thing could be said about them which might be negative? It's so weird. Plenty of people have a mental illness, it is nothing to be ashamed of, but then we have people like you who will twist themselves into knots trying to deny the obvious reality. By the way, the morbidity associated with gender dysphoria has a strong biological correlation, by no means is it all social.

@j3nnytool - Also, if it is all social, then they should only be treated for depression and anxiety like anyone else. Health insurance should never cover their gender reassignment. You try so hard to deny the obvious reality, you just basically talked yourself out of giving healthcare to trans people for their gender issues. That is how crazy people like you have become. Stop putting emotions and others feelings above everything else, even logic, it makes you look childish.

Chris Walker - Hahaha, are you kidding? The American slavers were much kinder to their slaves. They usually survived until old age, they were allowed to have families, church on Sunday, etc.. Why do you think there is no large amount of black people in Turkey today? Because they didn't allow for that type of thing. They castrated all of the males, so many died from that. You have been brainwashed to think American slavery was uniquely horrible when it was actually quite mild for the standards of slavery. The persistent belief that you aren't the sex you are, which causes morbidity with many negative symptoms, and which requires medical treatment including surgery, is definitely a disorder. No question about it. Should trans people be denied healthcare to help with their issue? Sounds like it according to you. After all, it's not a disorder right? So no money should be spent on their healthcare.

@GrigRP - No, that is just a way for people to extort money from others. There is no way you could possibly prove that someone is benefitting from something that happened hundreds of years ago, that is a fools errand. If you want to do that, then you need exact, scientific proof people are still benefiting from it. Good luck

@GrigRP - Because the reparations were started immediately after a genocide. It is not applicable to America, especially given the huge immigrant population that had nothing to do with it. My family never had a single thing to do with any of that, so I will fight tooth and nail against reparations. It will be the one issue I vote on regardless of anything else if it ever comes up. And there are a ton of people like me. It would ignite intense civil unrest in America. It ain't happening.
