I make my payments every month, and I have never missed a payment, but I can only afford 300 a month. The only thing I hate is the interest can make it so I am Barely making progress. Couldn’t they at least drop the interest to a very small amount? I won’t ever miss a payment but I don’t think I will ever pay it off

@randomexeter3627 - I will have to look into that, thanks! I might have to make some sacrifices and bump it up to 500 a month, but it will be really tough

@ - I have a 734 score, is that good enough to get a better rate? I already consolidated all the loans into one loan through the default program they offered online.
