  1.  @ephraimwinslow  - We swung waaaaaaaaay too far into helping the underprivileged. It went from wanting to be a nicer society, to actually promoting all the things which made people underprivileged in the first place. Thank god people are finally starting to act with some sanity.

  2.  @The_Rock_Princess - Canada is turning into a poor country before our very eyes. They imported waaaaay too many immigrants without enough infrastructure to handle it. Now, home prices are completely out of reach for your average Canadian. It is crazy because growing up, all I heard Canadians talk about is how much better they were than us. Europeans too. Now the NHS in Britain is collapsing, European economies are getting smoked by the US, and Canada is turning into a new Mexico (slight hyperbole). Turns out, our “slavery to corporations” was actually good business policy. If you don’t focus on business, everything else tends to fall apart. Thank god we didn’t become like them 😊

You can post articles saying they are evil, you shouldn't be friends with them, whatever. But Dave Chapelle makes one special which makes fun of trans people, and everyone lost their mind.   21.  @brownjatt21  - Yes, America does have some great wages for some select positions. I kick myself every day for getting a degree in biochem instead of computer science. I am making 60k a year and it is a struggle, but most people with bachelor's in biology, chemistry, and biochem don't make a lot. That was my fault, not anyone else's. Glad you enjoy the country though, hope your family prospers here! I was speaking about how the cultures are nearly identical, I don't think most people would know the difference.

White men have been demonized constantly over the last 7 years, and it is with full approval from the largest influences in our society. You wouldn't be able to say half the things about minorities that are said about white men. Could you imagine a newspaper article titled "The problem with black people and why they need to change"? We have normalized racism against white people and sexism against men, specifically white men. This really isn't up for debate, it is everywhere now. I have talked with a lot of Europeans, and they are amazed at the things said about white people. Just flat out racist things. We need to stop obsessing about race and treat everyone equally. I guarantee we will look back on this time in the future and say "Ya, we became very racist and sexist against white men in an overcorrection, and it was a terrible thing to do".

But saying Trump increased racial divisions is just wrong. Liberals are the ones who have been increasing racial tensions consistently over the last decade. Race is all they ever talk about, they literally cannot go one day without bringing it up. They have brought back racism in a big way, they just think it is OK because it is targeted at white people. Now, it doesn't take a genius to understand what will happen when you demonize a huge proportion of the country because the color of their skin. It will lead to division and racial animosity. And that is exactly what has happened since Democrats have been all "Let's bring back racism to fix racism! Except this time it will be the good kind of racism!" The Democrats have lost their mind on this issue, and it is so bad that French leaders like Macron have explicitly rejected our woke and racialized politics. France, a bastion of liberalism, thinks the Democrats in the US have become exceedingly racist.

  30. I am not a fan of Republicans because of their stupid conspiracy theories, but Jesus it was funny seeing the press all of the sudden say every movement was violence on Jan 6th but the BLM riots were most peaceful. The bias of our media really became blindingly obvious after that.

Walk up to them and nicely ask them to stop? It is a shame Palestinians support Hamas and harbor them in civilian buildings. What I think is hilarious is that Ho Chi Minh specifically told Arafat that he should reframe his struggle as "anti-colonization and a struggle for freedom against oppression, and you will have the Americans eating out of your hand". Seriously, that is a 100% real quote. Before that, the Palestinians, along with their Arab allies, were being honest about wanting to totally destroy Israel. When they thought they could win militarily, they didn't try to hide their intentions. But when they lost multiple wars and realized they couldn't win, they made up a totally false narrative to get gullible Westerners to support them. And soooooooo many Westerners are dumb enough to just eat it up. I really am ashamed of how dumb my fellow Americans are, lol

It has become an in group signal for an entire political party, which means it has thoroughly permeated through our culture. It is an unhealthy mindset to have an external locus of control, all the research shows this clearly, yet it is the "in" thing to do and it is having predictable results.
