  2. Because all of it went directly to the same people... but it has that added "Government Contractor" bonus of a $600 hammer. IF you get the private insurers OUT of that circle jerk, then it goes back to $70 for you, AND covers everyone else who couldn't afford theirs

  3. that's because they don't stay the same, they're AUTOMATICALLY marked up at all hospitals to the maximum gouge cap established by public subsidizing of private insurance but if you don't have insurance and are almost bankrupt, then you have to negotiate with the hospital to get it knocked back down to the original price that's closer to their actual "costs". The real reason it's set up this way, is because Private insurance always gets away with gigantic Co-pays charged directly back to the patient.

  4. Also... private insurance is even FURTHER subsidized by the employer's tax-credit on insurance costs directly, and indirectly via OSHA mandatory "compensation" ...BIG employers can easily afford this, small business however are not supposed to be able to afford it forever.

  5. yeah but that applies to the V.A. as well. My friend I was talking to just this week was a paratrooper in the 70's and was also exposed to a lot of waste burning while serving and HAS copd from it. They refused to cover him and it's yet to be seen if he'll get coverage even AFTER the latest Senate bill has passed which claims to "cover" that.

It's kind of ironic also how every time I turn on the radio / tv lately, I'm seeing "Starvation Crisis!" news about ALL of the countries that we invaded or helped Saudis prox-invade, especially Yemen / Afghan / Libya / Somalia ... but what I don't see on that list is Colombia or Venezuela. ...the very places we were promised would starve first if globalist "Capitalists" lost their grasp on either
