  1. The thing is... we NEED industry leaders to take Engineering risks. Everything will just continue to be a variation of an SUV if they don't. The *problem* is that Elon's celebrity is enabled by a massive cult of HUBRIS (not him, but his "Fans") and that makes it improbable for him to quickly ==> Learn <== anything from all of his mistakes (same exact thing applies to Trump and Jon Stewart)

  2. PS: that's for a rear TURN SIGNAL... it's a "maintenance" recall to a licensed shop to tweak an electrical circuit, not a full emergency recall related to mechanical structural design itself

  5. His tunnels and vacuum tubes are also 1> insanely impractical and inefficient, 2> still not FUNCTIONAL and safe after a decade of overhauls ... sabotage would have been completely redundant in all of these instances
