  1. they don't "need" consumers and they especially don't need customers anymore. Consumers ARE the product so long as Metrics and stock buyback speculation is considered to be GDP growth. They have already completely closed the Corporate Welfare loop and the recent Debt Ceiling raise just proves how *fictional* they think think our economy can be
