It's mostly just down to having a Mic directly near your mouth. Even a high quality mic is going to sound like crap when it's 3 feet away and filtering from Analog into Digital without proper compression & conversion

@chrimony It's always possible that 1 popular rapper they follow on TicToc just decided to go-off-on-her. Back in my day, all it took was one line from Jello-Biafro or Social-Distortion to get throngs of young people to all have the same opinion about politicians who were fairly popular with the rest of that community

@poempadgett4664 All that means is that 18 republicans stayed committed to the "stop Biden from passing ANYTHING" strategy but all of those republicans except for Rand Paul would immediately vote for EVEN MORE MONEY if a republican administration was still there
