So I dunno where this "Consumerism" calculation is coming from when so many people are just barely scraping by paying for food and utilities and pretty nothing beyond the bare minimum required to stay alive

Yah, how hard is it for Conservatives to just say "Okay, we admit we don't actually have a Free Market anymore" .... it's essentially the same thing they're already saying every time they're bitching and moaning about Silicon Valley and it's special Platform loopholes which exclusively protect them from all manner of Lawsuits. I'm still Socially conservative, I don't let that stop me from admitting to hard facts
