  1. Complexity isn't the problem...Rimworld, Civilization, and Baldur's Gate are all Complex games. The problem with modern games is CHORE creation, IoW: battle passes and gatcha Grinds add a ton of extra inventory bloat to a game but no *depth* to the actual gameplay loop.
