You can be REALLY experienced if you've lived a rough enough life or personally seen the inside of a couple human-made Disasters. Bear in mind this is all Comparatively framed....since the average Suburban teenager, libertarian, /pol/tard or think-tank goon watching these situations unfold never had to deal with the consequences personally

Probably because Death tolls driving Politics are mostly Comparative in nature and have been as far back as the Greeks. DID YOU KNOW that in that same week... our awful Diplomacy in Iraq was responsible for 50 or more civilian protestors dying when only 20 Kurds died in the Turk's ACTUAL war offensive? Our destabilizing effect in the region (just to satisfy the Israelis and their Lobbyists) is always causing significantly more loss of life than the Kurds have ever suffered or ever will suffer

I think the Kurds just need to realize that there are other ways of convincing the wider Turkish population other than Brute Force. ...especially when you consider that Turkey HAS the largest Ground-Military in the entire region and that even such a display of power has not nearly been as EFFECTIVE for them as Russia's Subversive & Viral strategy has been in the wider region. IE: Turks are playing stud Poker, Kurds are playing TicTacToe, and Russia's playing Chess.
