I live in Tampa FL, I moved here from Coral springs FL in the fall of 2019. I've lived in Florida for going on 19 yrs, I love it. I'm a short drive from Clearwater Beach FL, they just recently started back up with the sunset parties. My wife and I love to just sit or walk the beach at sunset it's beautiful. We left Coral Springs cause we needed a change even though we loved south Florida it was time for a change. Plus I got a great deal on 1.3 acres of land in a gated subdivision were we built our dream home. We never run out of things to do, everything is only a few hours drive away every couple of months we go drive down to the Keys. You hit on a lot of great places, I can't argue with one thing. I would like to you to add one thing though. Lately people have been moving to Florida and six months later they're moving back home. It takes a good year to year an a half to really get into the Florida lifestyle. Let them know that and if they can stick it out they'll end up loving Florida as much as we do. Enjoyed your post.

One point you missed is that Florida is flat the highest point in Florida is only a few hundred feet above sea level. So when the wind blows it blows hard. Not to mention the flooding certain low areas inland flood from a storm. True point about the accidents, I had two living in Coral Springs before moving up to Tampa. But since I moved and got my f450 w/ 6" lift not a one, they go out of their way to avoid me, I guess they're scared of getting crushed.😆😆😆 It's worth it to live in paradise. As a local I welcome anyone who's thinking of moving here, life is short enjoy the moment and live your life.

Things got out of hand in that situation. Please don't look at it as a representation of the entire state. You mix young people and alcohol and things tend to get out of control very quickly. Any place has its own set of problems, plus people have been quarantined for over a year now. We all need to blow off some steam, it just snowballed. It's been a on going thing for years where spring breakers get outrageous. It's just been amplified due to the quarantine.
