Yes finally I'm shocked Tampa is on one of your list. We're the forgotten Florida city, you're right the last time you mentioned Tampa was top ten reasons not to move to here. We've been over looked for too long to be one of the oldest cities in Florida.(even older than Miami) You might want to revise your list a lot of things you mentioned have been fix. The traffic is still crap during tourist season too many sightseers. There's great culture and food scene, wonderful sunsets especially on Clearwater beach. The people are nice but laid-back, plus we've got a great craft beer scene, not to mention the daiquiris. There's always something to do, festivals almost every month of the year. St Petersburg is just across the bay and it's a nice place to live too. The only thing people have a problem with is the summer heat, you have about five months when it's hot as hell. But for the rest of the year it's comfortable. We only have two seasons hot and not as hot if you're looking for the leaves to change your out of luck. The only other thing is Tampa and Clearwater was the lightening capital of the U.S. for a long time I don't know where it is now.

@thullraven1 Oh man, I feel for you but as they say. "Happy wife, happy life." Maybe she'll come around sooner or later, just keep dropping little hints. If not at least you'll have a lot of frequent flyer miles. My sister came for a visit and fell in love with the area. She finally convinced her husband after years to leave St Louis and move down here. (The high murder rate helped her) She got a nice house in Clearwater earlier this year, now her husband loves it. Every weekend they're on Clearwater beach enjoying the sunset parties, my wife and I join them every other weekend.
