  1. I always enjoy your post Briggs, but I'd rather pay a half a million to stay away from these places and states. I've been to all these states, I'm not impressed. There's other options to find a house at a decent price where you want to live. We bought our house through a foreclosure paid less than a 35% of it's true value. We took a bit over half of what I saved gutted it and had it rebuilt the way we wanted it. We still came out cheaper than market value for our area. Where there's a will there's a way.
