Ain't that the truth.

Yeah maybe, but as long as I can remember California have been suffering from droughts at one time or another. You have cities in a desert and wonder why you don't get rain. How are they going to fix that?

There wasn't a state that surprised me on this list. You've been talking about Oregon's problems since I joined your channel. We just visited my wife's family in Kentucky in July. Let's just say depressing and leave it at that. I have family in Mississippi it's been years since I visited at least decade or more. The best part of the trip was on my way to the airport to leave. I have family in Compton and Watts California we use to visit every year before the pandemic. But they've been calling us lately asking me about Florida looking to move. They've had enough with the homeless, smoke from wildfires and drought conditions.

It's the only one that has the best chance to turn things around.

@0011peace Yeah, they're wondering why Lake Mead is drying up. Most of the southwest is a desert so droughts are normal, duh. The answer to the problem is simple, stop whining about it or move. They chose to live there except what ever nature throws at them. I live in Florida I don't whine during hurricane season, I except it and go on, it's a part of life here. If I had a problem with it I'd leave.

@0011peace My wife and I have had this discussion many times. People live in a desert they get very little rain on a annual basis in the first place. Then they over use the natural water resources they have. Then once it becomes an issue they're worried and complain. Blaming it on a 1000yr drought, it's over use, heat evaporation, global warming and so on. They're worried not about how to replenish the natural water source but how it's going to inconvenience their lifestyle. Sounds a bit selfish if you ask me. It's well pass the point of needing more rain or cheap fixes. California and other states in the desert need to invest in water desalination plants. I know it's expensive but praying for miracle isn't going to solve the problem.

I love Louisiana I've been there many but the biggest problem it has is the politicians.

From all the states mentioned, Oregon has the best chance of turning things around. The other 9 are lost causes.

My relatives who live there are all looking to get out there ASAP. At one time you couldn't stand how much they talked how happy they were to live there. Now they're jumping ship, the band played as California sank into the abyss.
