So Kevin McCuckooland - he of Grand Design supposed fame - tips everyone to keep cool in supposed rising temperatures by "mopping their floors in the morning like the Italians". Well Mr McCuckooland WE ARE NOT IN ITALY, WE ARE NOT ITALIANS AND DO NOT HAVE AN ITALIAN CLIMATE. In fact, instead of your supposed rising temperatures", which for some reason has led to a huge increase of gas & electricity charges (🤔) - I would prefer to have thickly carpeted flooring with thick underlay and if I could, good underfloor heating too. Unfortunately I am not a millionaire - not even on the first rung of being one. I suggest you keep to what you think you know best on, and leave the ways to either keep warm - or cool when warm weather does show itself in the UK - to US. A sanctimonious comment from you is worthless to 99.99999 recurring residents!
