  3. Rubbish. My parents were healthily eating meat along with vegetables before, during and after the war! They cooked their own food daily, and used ALL parts of the meats - hocks; pigs trotters; intestines; brains; livers; kidneys. Then there wasn't the additive junk foods there is nowadays!
