  1. Poor bridge design by an incompetent civil engineer; bad construction and installation. Each span should have been independent of the others, then if 1 hit it won't bring down them all. Thomas Telford, a civil engineer, bridge designer and builder was a damned sight better than whoever engineered this one. At least his are still strong, he was born 1757. Shows a difference between a good civil engineer and a fkng incompetent one.🤷‍♀️
