Seeing Worm mentioned in such a public context is fucking wild, crazy that this is how it gets at least some wider knowledge

No honestly, hearing those parts had me tearing up, a lot of that is shockingly common and easy to fall into when you're in that state without others to pull you out

I'm not sure how much y'all have looked into the Worm side of things, but the more i read the more her story/individual issues and perspectives line up. It might be worth it to do a longer segment on the connection there honestly, both through the direct 'ziz' bit and the general perspective Worm as a story takes, especially with the main character syndrome type stuff. Sure, hollywood in general goes that route, but like Worm as a story is largely about a scarily similar character with that perspective, and functions as a critique of a lot of it. Edit - just got to the part about fighting the dudes, god damn that's literally just the main character of Worm.

@eiliscantsleep If any, it's likely to either be A Practical Guide to Evil or Pale, those both seem to be the new(er) big ones. But yeah, Worm is far from flawless but still stands up in a lot of ways -- namely, as a deconstruction of the exact types of things these rationalists keep trying to pull lmao
