I find your video to be biased in favor microsoft. You failed to mention how linux and other operating systems made their mark on the 90s. You should have covered the operating systems by decades. Maybe do a multupart video series on operating system. This is a very big topic and too many operating systems to cover. I give this video a c-.

@trevinbeattie4888 you seem to miss the point. he did not mention linux in this video giving priority to windows. This video should have been a series on decades (80s, 90s etc) of the operating systems. Other operating systems played an important part of this history. The video sis biased.

@shikharraje First of all I never said linux was supposed to be easy to use for the end user. I comment had nothing to do with being a friendly os. Not sure which planet you are on. Read my previous comments. You seem to forget the purpose of why linux was created. Even though it started as a side project linus needed something he could afford (free). Nothing starts out to be for the ordinary users. The first operating systems did not start out that way. They were intended for businesses and government. People still used them since that was the best at the time. Windows was not developed for the ordinary user initally. Look at the first windows like 1.0 and 2.0. They were targeted towards the businesses. Its onnly later down that microsoft targeted home users because of the micro computer being more in reach of the ordinary home users. It had nothing to do with user experience. It was driven by need and feedback from the ordinary users. So your argument of linux was never inteded to be a friendly os is irrevelant. Now back to my original comment. The video is biased because it does not do judstice to the other operating systems like linux, next, beos etc. You can goto winworld and see the number of operating systems form that time that should have at least a mention. The video is biased.
