@invisiblekincajou No one ever said supersonic flight was impossible who knew anything as it was already known that bullets could do it, long, LONG before supersonic flight.

@aaxxsed You can heat your hot water using the system though, which you will still need in the summer.
15
Humans cannot do these calculations on human time scales so the alternative is to stop taking steps at all.

Joking, right? Not only would that not work as the smoke would have nowhere to flow to except a closed off hole in the ground and wouldn't flow downwards anyways. Furthermore, if you burn wood instead of fossil fuels you are using carbon that is already in the environment instead of having it dug up and added to it. The carbon in that wood was co2 just a few decades ago so you are not releasing old carbon that was previously taken out of the environment like with goal, gas, etc.

Case closed. This literal madman on the internet who spouts insanity regularly checked google maps and from memory says it looks the same. Are you trying to look like a clown? It's working.
4
@HerbieHerbHerb It's ok kiddo, you'll get it when you get big.
3
correlation =/ causation
3
@gnorman-ct2lt He was referring to the Infinite Improbability Drive, which went WAY over your head lol.
3
I used to like to listen to your channel while doing chores but now the videos are too short. I can't get anything done before having to come back to the computer to find a new video. I guess I'll have to find some other science news channel.
3
No, as she said they get their color from structural defects, not impurities. The rotational rate of the Earth does not change throughout the orbit.
3
Fallacy of personal incredulity.
3
@elon6131 No, that is exactly how it works. Brush up on your Penrose diagrams, son.
3
Yellowstone doesn't have enough melt to erupt.
3
Economic considerations exist whether you even have a ruling class or not. Everything has a cost. TANSTAAFL.
2
@cortster12 Joking, right?
2
@traumflug They know there are read-write cds and dvds, they mentioned that in the post you are replying to. " (those are DVD+/-Rs and CD-Rs)"
2
Not that kind of volcano.

@CallOfCutie69 We don't have any pictures of our galaxy. We are inside of our galaxy. That would be like expecting a cell to know what the human it is is looks like. There are no "false" pictures of our galaxy either, there are pictures of galaxies that are similar to ours and artist's renderings of what we think ours looks like based on what we can see. There is no conspiracy to hide the shape of the galaxy, it is just hard to tell the fine details from inside. Not knowing the number of arms would not in any way suggest we don't know what shape it is since literally only spiral galaxies even have arms.
2
What would that even mean? Forward and backward is one dimension; you'd need to go up or down or left or right IN TIME.
2
How many times are you going to change the title and thumb? 3x at least. It's annoying.
2
@causewaykayak Ran out of your meds, huh?
2
No one thinks brains use quantum physics.
2
@osmosisjones4912 How is the twice impeached, one-term, indicted, many times bankrupt loser a wreck? Now we finally know you're not a bot at least. Bots aren't this dumb.
2
It's pretty easy with seismology and other techniques.
2
No, and that does not follow from your premise.
1
Yes, deregulated air travel will be both cheap and safe. What could go wrong? Companies would never cut corners on safety to make more money. That's madness.
1
Yeah, it's called gravity. The source is an unseen matter, dark matter.
1
There were indeed clocks in decaying atoms.
1
A lack of gravity does not stop time. Also, what do you mean by "time isn't what clock ticks" and "what clock ticks is time"? These phrases don't mean anything in English.
1
We'll all hold our breath.
1
@migsvensurfing6310 Running out of oxygen would be the least of our worries if we lost the rain forests.
1
No

Ancient mysticism must have the answers then. Where is my sacrificial ram?!
1
With none of that dumb safety stuff.
1
That's why she used "theoretically" as it is proven and tested but has not been practically implemented.
1
Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. It can only change forms. Where would they get this energy FROM?
1
He was clearly wrong since we have a chip with over 1000 and we cannot do that with it.
1
That's not a thing. Thanks for playing though.
1
Yeah, a compass will face the other way. Pretty nifty.
1
Yes, Jupiter all the time.
1
Yeah, you should see how bad it gets. At keast science tries with having "evidence" while religion just skips all that and says a magic sky daddy did it and you better believe me or you'll burn forever. It's way more alpha.
1
@bartroberts1514 In the diagram of the video we are watching you can see that the salts are purified in a chemical processing plant in a constant loop.
1
A bit is not the same as a byte, that's why they have different names lol.
1
@rindernetz1061 Water has nothing to do with the magnetic field. You ok? There's nothing scary about the earth's field flipping. It has happened many thousands of times.
1
Because we can see the past by looking far away and see that the speed of light has not changed.
1
1:58 "...two thousands four hundred thousand homes." What?
1
She's fake too. Everything outside your skull isn't real.
1
Comparing trees to solar panels doesn't make sense unless you plan on burning them for energy.
1
Why not Google it instead of making uneducated guesses about well known theories you should have been taught in high school? Embarrassing.
1
No worries since there are no effects. Birds do not migrate using the stars as guidance. They are irrelevant to them just as the lights of airplanes are.
