@sunsetpalms1923 Yes, yes they do. Canada for example has exactly 9 justices and "whose decisions are the ultimate application of Canadian law." This is how most countries work. How else would it be? Do you think there should NOT be judicial review of the laws passed by the legislative body? Then that means that congress could pass a nationwide abortion ban and there would be NO way to challenge it. There wouldn't be any way at all to challenge unconstitutional laws except to have elections, elect new people to congress, and change the law, IF you can get them elected since the other side has gerrymandered everything so they don't even have to win.

Mexico has an 11 justice supreme court too which decides the constitutionality of their laws. Is your point that you want MORE justices or that you do not understand the role of the court?

@SomeGuyWhoPlaysGames333 You are asking the impossible. This would require 2/3 of Congress or the states to amend the Constitution. That will literally NEVER happen. Try to focus on the possible and not silly fantasy. How would you ensure that the new court isn't even worse? You do know "we" meaning dems I guess do not have unchecked power and would likely not be the ones making the new court. What kind of fantasy world are you living in where Chuck and Nancy do this? ROFL. Stick to playing games. Politics are way above your level.

@SomeGuyWhoPlaysGames333 Oh yeah, a totally unchecked Congress doing whatever they want is the path to freedom. /s
