  1. There is no legal way to do such a thing. There is no law requiring loyalty to a party (nor should there be) and switching parties has happened multiple times in the past. It's just rare lately because of partisanship. The only way to remove a sitting senator is for 2/3 of the Senate to vote to expel him. That's all the Constitution provides and changing the Constitution would require an amendment, which needs 2/3 of BOTH houses or 2/3 of the states. This is why voting is important. You have to live with the consequences.
