@AlexandriaTheGreat If you were an authority figure and you told people that a dangerous thing like a global pandemic was a hoax for many months though you would be responsible for the hundreds of thousands of people who died because they believed your lies. The difference is that you aren't the president and you have no authority AND crapping your pants won't kill hundreds of thousands of people. Trump is responsible. It's not people's responsibility to expect the authority figure on their own side to be lying to them about dangerous information. That's absurd.

@AlexandriaTheGreat Whether or not you are taught critical thinking skills and the history of our country and the reason why it is the way it is aren't your choice. If you are lied to your whole life and literally taught to disdain academics and science this is the inevitable outcome. A few might see through the lies but most won't and haven't, which is why Trump won and why he got 70+ million votes after killing 300+ thousand Americans.

He kept open the illegal prison in Guantanamo Bay. He made the Bush tax cuts permanent. He did a drone strike on a US citizen without trial. The blood of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, Afghanis, Yemenis, and others are on his hands just as much if not more than Bush or Trump. Obama promised us Hope and Change and I voted for that but he gave us Bush's policies with a nicer face. Were you not there?!?! How quickly people forget. Heck, Bush is friends with Ellen for the same reason. SMH.
