You got an MA in arts and humanities, knowing that it would cost $100k, but still did it? Were you unaware that there is very little money in that field? I'm finishing my BS in Geology right now. I graduate tomorrow. I have $38k in student loan debt, something I expect to make more than per year starting, easily. College shouldn't be as expensive as it is, they should be free; but no one tricked you. You got a masters in arts. People who do that should be financially independent already (ie. rich) as their skills won't be able to earn them much anyway. Arts and humanities are very much worth learning about and an admirable major, but spending $100k on such a major was foolish for someone without the means to pay it back. I mean, after you got your B.A., did you find a promising job in your field that warranted getting a M.A.?
