@rendomstranger8698 You're in the Netherlands, a tiny country 1/10 the size of my state and 1/230th of my country. You have defeated your own point. My insurance is $80 a month and I can drive wherever I want, many of which are places public transportation would never go. Your situation is not applicable to different ones.

@jackskellingtonation I'm not riding the buss like a homeless person. We can come up with civilized alternatives to gasoline that don't take us back 50-100 years to where you can't travel where you want, when you want.

@jackskellingtonation I like to drive long distances to remote places for fun. Public transportation never could do that. No one without a car could do this. You can go stare at your phone your whole life while walking a block to work and back and never seeing anything real, I'll explore the world and the outdoors.

johnmburt1960 It would take 3 hours by bus to get to my work and takes 25 minutes by car. I'm not wasting my life in public transit rubbing arms with the insane and homeless, you can. Also, a Subaru is a fuel efficient 4wd vehicle so I'm not understanding your 2 mpg reference. Keep being mad you can't afford personal transportation. Good luck getting rid of those lice and scabies.
