Once money became free speech and corporations became people, their "duty" became serving their donors/puppetmasters. Did you actually think you lived in a democracy still? It's been an oligarchy for decades, wake up.

The Constitution isn't even in force anymore, the "patriot" act and citizens united gutted it and every nearly every elected official is beholden to the big money interest, the oligarchy. The only possible way to fight this is through a constitutional amendment to get money out of politics, and congress sure isn't going to pass that. We need to call for a constitutional convention to force congress to act. Look into movements such as wolf-pac.com that are trying to do this. Whistleblowers can't do shit if their only response is to incarcerate and pursue the whistleblowers.
