  2. ​ @miniverse2002 That would mean the current LUCA isn't and there is simply an earlier LUCA. LUCA by definition is the ancestor of all surviving lineages.

  4. 8:46 LUCA would not have been alone, it's just the ancestor whose descendents survived while none of it's contemporaries did. So if course it would have an immune system.
