  1. If c was different based upon direction wouldn't the universe look very different based upon which direction you look since the universe has changed and evolved over billions of years? If you looked in one direction very far away you would see an old universe as it is now. Look the other way and you'd see a young universe. We don't see this in observations. I must be missing something here.
