***** Well, under your logic, you would be an idiot if you think anything isn't real that has no evidence for it. This is the exact opposite of actual logic and the burden of proof, bravo! The simple fact that there is no reason to believe aliens have visited the Earth, because there is no evidence of such. They may have indeed been here, but there is no reason to think this is the case until there is evidence, just like there is no reason to believe in Yahweh because there is no evidence of an insane bearded sky daddy, even though it's not impossible. Unicorns are not impossible, would you be an idiot to disbelieve claims of unicorn sightings? It even says they are real in the Bible.

BigBad Wolfe Why would I not know what I am talking about? We know that the Universe had a beginning 13.8 Billion years ago and it expanded from then. To be infinite in size, it would have to have expanded at infinite speed or have expanded for infinite time. The first option is not true since it would be nonsensical to expand at infinite speed, this would have the Universe expand from nothing to infinity in literally no time. The second option is also untrue because we know the Universe has a finite age. Nothing with a finite age could have expanded over infinite time. I have actually completed a minor in astronomy, I'm, pretty familiar with the subject, but this is just simple logic. If you disagree, how could something with finite age be infinite in size when we know it was smaller in the past?

BigBad Wolfe It would still have to inflate at infinite speed to get to infinite size in finite time. Even if our Universe is not the only one, it itself cannot be infinite. It has a finite beginning. You would still never reach the edge though because it has no edge.

Beaujangles McJiggle That is a nonsensical question since there is no "outside" to the universe since this entire dimension is comprised of it, but it is not infinite in size. This is the same as asking what came before the big bang; time began with the big bang. It has expanded since the big bang and to get to infinite size, it would have to be expanding at infinite speed or have been expanding for infinite time, which it hasn't been. While it is effectively infinite to us, it isn't overall. Just look up some cosmology people, damn.

BigBad Wolfe I'm only talking about our pocket Universe, which is really all we need to concern ourselves with anyway, we can't even see past a certain horizon due to the expansion of the Universe so we can literally never even explore our entire finite Universe (barring FTL), let alone a multi-verse. Also, the logic to show the Universe must be finite is pretty simple. At time zero, the Universe is size zero, time then begins and the Universe begins to expand, whatever speed it expands at is not really important since it is a finite speed. It must be a finite speed or the size of the Universe would be infinite instantaneously, observation shows this to be false. Anything expanding at a finite speed can never expand to an infinite size. The speed of expansion could be many times the speed of light and it would still never reach infinite size. Also, if it did somehow reach infinite size, everything within it would be stretched infinitely, giving a zero density as the finite mass the Universe started with would be divided by an infinite volume (density=mass/volume), making the Universe entirely empty, yet having stuff in it, which makes no sense.
