It's the most lavishly funded military to ever exist, so yeah I think they can afford enough.

@AirShark95 So Falcon 9 did not have failures during it's development? There isn't a blooper reel of them exploding? How do you think Falcon 9 got to be competent and capable? It's like you kids were born 5 years ago. How can you speak and type so well yet be so ignorant?
9
@larimejohnson You gotta blow the autopilot up though still.
7
Weird how the two Bears just exploded for no reason.
5
@Art-is-craft What does a manned scout helicopter do that a drone can't for 100x cheaper and not risking a pilot's life?
4
So some dude told some dude he saw some stuff. VERY convincing lol.
4
The lack of almost any attack on US mainland soil since the invention of the aircraft. As mentioned in the video though, they always have armed planes up now.
3
Why couldn't this be true even if the US did know about the attacks beforehand? One hand doesn't know what the other is doing.
3
Our military spending is more than that of the next 10 nations combined, most of which are our allies, and you think we need to "re-arm"? Do we need to spend more than the rest of the Earth combined?
3
Watch the video. The Chinese actually have a hypersonic glide vehicle. The difference is a explained if you'd just watch.
3
Yeah, we know. We watched this video.
2
@lordilluminati5836 That simply isn't true, there are many videos on how to make them here on youtube even.
2
@ashleygoggs5679 What about when drones can think and do so far faster than any human ever could? Why wouldn't a drone be able to hold ground, far better than any human soldier ever could?
2
Or reverse smell
2
@hankidan Yeah, we probably should have known beforehand that abandoning the Afghanis to the Russians to die after supporting them for years in their war would come back to haunt us.
2
@TheStormpilgrim The B-52 is completely obsolete and could go nowhere near the front lines of any conflict with a near-peer. The reason they keep the B-52 around is they are safe behind many layers. This would NEVER be the case with a stealth drone whose stealth and ability to cross and go far behind the line is their value. Once it cannot compete at the frontline it will be basically of no use.
2
@HailAzathoth They have not though and both sides know because of third party inspectors. This doesn't work on trust and has been working for over 50 years.
2
Seems your tinfoil hat is on too tightly. That was an editing error.
2
They made them out of basset hounds? That's pretty metal.
2
How would you recognize your own bias without outside reference? You're not making sense.
2
Well obviously not. We're well past the stage of being able to compete with simple machines.
2
Vote Republican so you never have to vote again.
1
@johnshite4656 "Elon's" rockets are already taking humans to space. Have you been under a rock like 10 years?
1
So War Thunder is true.
1
When you mentioned Kratos I realized I live right down the street from their Sacramento office. I thought they sounded like a defense contractor.
1
Sounds a lot like, "Women sure have been uppity lately since we let them start voting." Remember, if we're going biblical you are not allowed to speak, hold office, vote, or even be in your own home during your period. We can be primitive savages that get our morals from illiterate goat herders tales from the bronze age if you want. You just won't like it as a woman though.
1
@df3yt For real, it would be nice to know if this is at all true, just so we can laugh at Ivan all the harder.
1
@leo42062 Why would someone who thinks they will live forever in paradise ever think twice if death is the threat? It's an empty threat to true believers and doesn't dissuade them at all. You have to kill the mind virus, not the people.
1
Does Australia have this system?
1
WTF, youtube just changed the UI again. Thanks. I HATE it.
1
Or you could just angle the engines outward so they don't point down when landing. Defeatists like you are not engineers for a reason.
1
@FuKuntt What part of "Nah" was too hard to understand?
1
@MelbaOzzie My source is the video. Watch it.
1
This will surely come true as all all of the apocalyptic predictions before have.

Hero

Your enemy cannot fear a weapon is doesn't know about. Watch "Dr. Strangelove" to see why you tell the enemy about your weapons.
1
You want to accelerate an aircraft to Mach 4 on a flight deck? The Ford class carriers have a 1092 foot flight deck. In order to hit Mach 4 or 3045 miles per hour over that distance the plane would need to accelerate at about 284 g's for nearly a half second. So, no manned aircraft since you would be a fluid sloshing violently in the back of said aircraft. This would need to be more of a missile.
1
Stealth is not possible when the air around you is plasma from your speed. You are glowing white hot.
1
Momentum.
1
Since the 1800's, at least.
1
Nuclear 4:20 blaze
1
The other missiles also reach hypersonic speeds. They just cannot maneuver while doing it. Watch the video.
1
Those weapons are not in use.
1
You're a naïve child if you think this isn't a message to China. Go back to your jucie box and legos. Adults are speaking.
1
@austinlowrance5943 So they're literally the same as the hijackers who committed the ultimate sacrifice for their people, right? I mean, the US military killed about 1000 times as many people as died in 9/11 as a response. 1000/1 is pretty terroristy.
1
The best part is that Godzilla IS the US Airforce, represented as an atomic hell fire spitting destroyer of cities who later protects Japan from even worse monsters.
1
No. It isn't "good" or "bad" to demonstrate that messing with us is death. It's just a warning.
1
@shibasurfing Isn't it crazy how downright yellow these supposed conservative are when it comes down to it? They'd make their traitorous ancestors ashamed.
1
For real.
