Trump owns a hotel in DC. Foreign dignitaries stay at this hotel now to garner Trump's favor as it directly profits him. This is a clear violation. This wouldn't be a court decision or lawsuit, it would be an impeachment for violating the Constitution. Also, it doesn't matter if Trump stopped breaking the law in a technical sense, he already did it. Do burglars not have to go to jail if they get caught and promise to not technically steal anymore? If they found he did so, he would be removed for "high crimes and misdemeanors." Try to keep up. Your second argument is that you just don't care about the rule of law because other presidents also broke the law? Wow.
