  2. That's my point. Religion has no need of superheroes because they are already wizards and witches. Jesus can transmute matter, smite fig trees, resurrect, and fly. Idiots do mix their fiction genres though and create such atrocities as "Bible Man" though. None of these cancerous fictions should have superheroes though for the same reason cigarette companies can't have superheroes. They are poison to young minds.

  4. The reason "treat others as you would like to be treated" is in just about every religion is that it is a concept that doesn't need religion. Where does religion even come into that equation? You seem confused. The purpose of religion is to control the ignorant masses. Good people will do good things, bad will do bad, but religion is the only thing that makes good people do bad things because a magical authority makes it good. Religion in all forms is poison as it requires that one believe absurd, magical claims without evidence. Once you do that, you can be convinced to do or believe anything.

  8. If you don't know that the general purpose of religion is to deceive then you don;t know much about it. Religions are myths that are used to control.They are nothing more. People could not explain how aspects of the natural world worked and so assholes made up answers. They did this because people believed these liars could protect them from these things that they did not understand, like death. Belief in some magical power is the problem. Once you believe in a power higher than man, you're no longer responsible for the evils you commit. These are not perversions of religion, but the purpose. Religion is poison. They tell you your life has meaning, and that meaning is to worship, for example, the most evil character in all of literally fiction, Yahweh. You know, Jesus's alter-ego/dad.

Religion is arguably the worst thing that mankind has ever invented and has killed billions in it's name. People cannot take any idea and use it like religion as only religions rely upon faith. That's the problem. Faith means that your're demonstrably wrong and you don't care. You wouldn't need faith if you had evidence. Religion cannot operate without faith. Faith inevitably leads to bad ideas being believed because god-said-so. This makes it extremely dangerous. That's why it's called the opiate of the masses. It calms the fears of their inevitable deaths by telling them comforting lies that they require them to believe, often on pain of death. It's a sickness that can't pass from mankind fast enough. Right now the US government is attempting to fullfill End Time Prophecy by uniting Israel. The next step is Armageddon. This is what happens when you let ignorant goat herder tales go un-criticized too long.
