  4. Is a cop pointing a gun at you noteworthy in France? He didn't even shoot, let alone kill anyone. I've had the cops point their guns at me multiple times during traffic stops just because they were nervous, once with a shotgun. These people were straight up assaulting an officer with deadly weapons, an instant death sentence in America. Luckily for the rioters he was French and surrendered and ran away though. You Frenchies don't know how good you have it.
