In their ideal future, people aren't under-educated, they are entirely uneducated serfs toiling for literally no wage at all. They don't want leaders for tomorrow. They don't give a damn about tomorrow. They want votes, and the less educated a person is the more likely they are to vote Republican.

There can be far more sane people than crazy and yet with gerrymandering you can massively over represent the people that hold your interests. The whole point of gerrymandering is you don't need voters to do it, at least not a lot of them. What should the majority do that you are blaming them for not doing?

  6. Wait, you think that the Floridian government DOESN'T want all the teachers to quit? That's the whole point. They don't want their children to be educated. At all. The more educated they are the more likely they are to vote blue so eliminating education makes sense to them. They'll just mandate they all go to bible schools next.
