  1. Even a literal nuclear war wouldn't end humanity as the Southern Hemisphere would be mostly untouched so no, history will still be taught. It's just going to have a lot more bad things to teach that are still yet to come that we didn't have to have happen. Much like if the Library of Alexandria wasn't burned.

  2. I have very little confidence putting in more people with a proven track record of doing nothing when they have power. At least the Republicans serve their base. Democrats spit on them and them them "it's raining, and besides, who else you gonna vote for?" This is how we get President Desantis and the last election the US ever has.
