@oldmandoinghighkicksonlyin1368 Let me know when NASA makes a reusable rocket in 50 or 60 years, if they still exist. NASA stopped doing anything amazing a couple decades ago.

@HumanBeing... If you use the Sabatier process and solar as mentioned it is carbon neutral. The advent of large amounts of cheap solar mean that you can just produce fuel like methane from the air and sea water, taking carbon directly from the air. Ya'll are thinking too small. Fusion will make this almost free when that finally comes on line too.

@k_Why The amount of oxidizer you have in a tank has literally nothing to do with how rich you choose to burn your engine unless you totally run out of methane, which they of course would not do.
