  1.  @ceddricc5909  I understand what you mean but volcanoes come in different types based on the thickness and gas content of their lavas. Ones with very fluid, not very gassy lava don't explode and just erupt lava that runs like this that you just need to stay out of the way and don't touch it and you'll be fine. If the lava is thick with a lot of dissolved gasses the gasses build up and escape explosively when an eruption happens, like uncapping a shook up soda.
