@AnnaJo2000 Gods and religion are monstrous evils that need to be removed from the world. It is right now killing people in this pandemic because it has robbed them of their critical thinking skills and these people who spread these dangerous myths don't need coddling. It's extremely unhealthy and dangerous to have imaginary friends as an adult and you can see the results.

@yanniskarageorgiou3573 YHWH is called just god because his name was made to be purposely unpronounceable. Yahweh (nouns added to make it speak-able) didn't exist as a single god but as part of a pantheon of gods until the Semitic people became monotheistic. We know how your myth was created and the other earlier polytheistic religions it "borrowed" it's stories from. Just because you were brainwashed from birth to think magic sky dads are real and were shielded from the origins of your myth doesn't make it so or believable in any way.

@Cade_Yerges The historical evidence of 500 people dying for him... where? In the bible? That's not a historical source lol. It's a book of fables and magic. The bible says it's true because the bible says it's true??? What about the hundreds of zombies that supposedly rose up with Jesus and proclaimed his name? Lol. Cite your "historical evidence." Also, even if 500 people did die for him, it would in no way suggest that any magical claim in the bible is true. 909 people died in Jonestown, does that mean that they are traveling on the comet to their god? They actually can be confirmed to have died in real life too so that's way better evidence for a comet god. DO you see how you reasoning is massively flawed? Dying for your beliefs doesn't make them any truer, at all.

@Cade_Yerges I forgot to answer your question; I believe in that which can be supported by evidence. Nothing more or less. No gods have any supporting evidence for their supernatural claims in any holy book ever so I remain in disbelief of gods until there is evidence to believe in them. Same as I disbelieve in unicorns, fairies, space aliens, etc. until there is evidence to show they exist. Why don't you also have such a standard? Do you guard your door with garlic against vampires? They could be real just like anything and are far more plausible than a god.

@VAVORiAL You're right, no one could legit be this dumb. They have to be pretending. Except that I've met many people in real life who believe such things. Even those that called me a demon. Their brains have been rotted beyond reason and you really can't tell them from people pretending to be insane because they're lonely.

@Cade_Yerges Again child, the burden of proof is on the one making the claim. No one is responsible for proving your claim but you. Stop trying to shirk your responsibility. If you can't cite your source then it can't be all that good, can it? My heart isn't hardened; you literally have flat out refused to provide anything to back up your beliefs. You betray your own lack of belief by being totally unable to defend it. You know your god has as much evidence as any other god for existing, same as me. Thank you for making that so glaringly obvious. You are an atheist at heart and if your god is actually real he knows your heart. Prove me wrong, coward. Defend your belief. Think about and research them. The more you know about your religion the more obvious it will become to you.

@Cade_Yerges No one needs to prove negatives lol. Do you believe in unicorns? Elves? Allah? Do you need to prove they don't exist to not believe in them? I can indeed prove I exist. I think therefore I am. Your god cannot do the same. Also proving your god is easy. Cut off your arm and then pray for it to stop bleeding and for it to grow back. Do this in front of a team of scientists. Do it repeatedly and show it only works when you pray to the Christian god. It's so nice you're recognizing that your god is non-falsifiable. Now just look up how useful non-falsifiable ideas are. I'll wait. You literally cannot logically say that things are real that cannot be proven to be so. You already said you don't know that it's real when you said you didn't have proof. Your logic is circular.

@Cade_Yerges Here are some examples of Non-falsifiable Statements so that you can maybe understand better: An alien spaceship crashed in Roswell New Mexico. A giant white gorilla lives in the Himalayan mountains. Loch Ness contains a giant reptile. The Christian god is real but unprovable. Do these sound like convincing statements to you?

@Cade_Yerges 1. Killing isn't considered absolutely wrong as there is no objective morality. Check your bible for the constant genocides ordered by your god for examples. 2. You keep making this claim but can't show it to be true because you know it isn't. 3. Why would you need a god to exist to derive meaning for your life? How are the two even related? An intellectually honest person would be able to say how, but you aren't. 4. Argument from ignorance/watchmaker's fallacy. Classical logical fallacies. Furthermore, isn't your god more complex than human cells? Then shouldn't he too need a designer? Terrible logic refuted literally centuries ago. 5. Argument from personal incredulity. Love and hate have been explained by science and are obvious survival traits. Some of the easiest to explain. Furthermore, even if we couldn't explain something, how does that make it more likely that god did it? You'd have to show first that one exists and something being complex doesn't mean it needs a designer unless your god had one or he's infinitely simple. That means that as human understanding grows and we understand more and more your god becomes smaller and smaller. The god of the gaps. You're just full of classic fallacious arguments refuted 1000 times.
