  4. Charla Lee Well the South existed and exists because of the economy of slavery, a foundation of bigotry. If the very base of the South is bigotry, it'll be very hard to ever get rid of it. You could try living in Austin if you want to stay in the South but don't want to live in an especially bigoted area. I just don't see it ever changing, especially since Nixon's Southern strategy has very strongly aligned Republicans with Southern bigots.They need them to stay in office, you can bet that they'll try to keep bigotry alive as long as possible. This is not to say Conservatism is necessarily bigoted, but it has been their strategy for a LONG time.

Further, that is not what the 10th Amendment says, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people." The Supreme Court has ruled that the states do not have the  right to stop people from getting married. You've chosen a rather odd time to bring this back up, being proven wrong and all. Gay marriage is legal in every state now whether you like it or not. There is nothing you or your pretend sky daddy can do about it either, loser.
