  1. dangerouslytalented The same is true here in the US, or at least in California. They have to pay you at least a two hour showup time if you are a part time worker, 4 hours if you are full time. I have brought this up to my employer before, it worked then but I was later fired. They didn't like that I knew labor laws lol. Joke's on them though, I used all the unemployment I could get off of them.

  2. dangerouslytalented This is true, the poor just go without. I have no television service, I only get clothes once a year on Christmas as gifts from my family, and I haven't been able to afford to drive my cars, which were made in the eighties, for several years now.

  3. John Masters Lol, walmart is terrible. The stores are dirty and the employees hate their jobs.

John Masters All four walmarts in my area are understaffed with only 4 registers open at any time and the shelves are often only half full, with rotting refrigerated items randomly placed in bread racks and the like. The empty places on the shelves go un-stocked often weeks on end. I once returned some fish food because it was already opened and half used. Two months later, when I was buying more fish food, the same package I had returned was back on the shelf. The cashiers don't greet you when you get to the register, the only thing they ever say is the total, and good luck trying to find someone to help you find an item. They'll either speak no English (usually Russian only) or won't know where the items are.
