The Bible provides no evidence of a deity, its proclamation that unbelievers are foolish only shows that its position is weak. It is a position that is also very clear it is pro-slavery, pro-racism, pro-genocide, pro-ignorance. I've read the Bible, its not even well written let alone convincing. I am more than open to being convinced that there is a god, however the Bible provides nothing at all.

Also, Jesus was very supportive of slavery, one should always obey thine master. Jesus never once spoke against slavery, nor did any single Biblical figure in the book. Does Jesus not advise how to beat slaves who both knowingly and unknowingly disobeyed their master in Luke 12:45-48? Didn't St. Paul repeatedly advise slaves to obey? If a just god had been the inspiration of the Bible and not just the greed of corrupt men in power, could he have not advised against slavery? Is Yahweh too weak to take a stance against slavery ever?
