  2. karl john You didn't prove anything, you simply gave your opinion that people shouldn't be allowed to think the things they want to think and say things they want to say. As long as the spoken word is not a threat or has the effect of causing physical harm (ie. , yelling bomb on a plane or fire in a theater), speech is protected. Speech must be protected, even unpopular speech as the opinion of the minority must be protected. Any legal limitation on speech that is not based on causing physical harm can be misused later to oppress others. An example would be if you made this law, then when conservatives got into office, they would say that pro-LGBT speech is hate speech and no one can talk about it. It is a risk that cannot be taken. Conservatives would love nothing more than to institute a theocracy, an important step is to silence dissenters. There is no need to silence hateful people as their own hateful speech weakens their position. The more they hate, the less chance they have of getting elected. Conservatives are currently making the mistake of throwing their support behind the fast shrinking racist majority. Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

  4. ryan8878 I'm sorry, but did I make a generalization about all feminists? I simply stated that many do, not all or most. I'm talking more about the kind that believe in a patriarchy and wear shirts professing their love of the taste of male tears. They are allowed to say the way they feel, even if that feeling is hateful, and I FULLY support their right to say it, that is until they actually call for the harming or genocide (probably not the right word) of all men.
