  1. Adrian Meza Guns are specificly designed to kill though, so comparing cars to guns is a false equivalence. If however, cars were designed to kill animals and pedestrians you hit in the most efficient manner, then you might have a point with that argument. The SAE doesn't even allow popup headlights or hood ornaments anymore ffs. I am a pro-2nd amendment progressive as well, I just would like some background checks before you purchase guns, that's it. You have to get training, a license and insurance and a background check to get a driving license after all.

  3. draco Well, it's a bit different since cars are not designed to kill, but yes it is a silly lawsuit. Just an open question, if a car company sold a car designed to efficiently kill pedestrians and animals when you hit them, wouldn't that be illegal? I mean, popup headlights and hood ornaments are illegal for new cars to have ffs. Just talking BTW, I'm a gun owner myself.

  5. Tim Don Sure, you can make a zip gun, but that's nothing compared to the craftsmanship and feel of a high powered rifle.
