They weren't transmitting radio signals, were they? Were they detonating atomic weapons or putting gasses that do not occur in nature such as chlorofluorocarbons into the atmosphere?   4. ElfNet Gaming Who's to say there isn't an invisible pink unicorn watching over you? Being able to see events faster than light would violate causality. I'm open to arguments on how it would work but just suggesting that things which seem impossible may be possible isn't very useful.

In science, there is nothing higher than a theory and a theory can never become greater than theory. Further, we can see billions of light years away. We know that the speed of light is the same everywhere. Your argument from personal incredulity is fallacious.
