+TAPE Gaming We would not be visible as a civilization in the 6th century. They could likely see that there is life though.

PsychoLlama You call me an idiot, yet you not only couldn't read what I wrote but you also think that a civilization in 600 A.D. would be detectable from many light years away? How, might I ask? They weren't transmitting radio signals, were they? Were they detonating atomic weapons or putting gasses that do not occur in nature such as chlorofluorocarbons into the atmosphere? No one said that there wasn't civilization in 600 A.D. Reading comprehension>you.

Kyle Lorrin Thanks.

ElfNet Gaming Who's to say there isn't an invisible pink unicorn watching over you? Being able to see events faster than light would violate causality. I'm open to arguments on how it would work but just suggesting that things which seem impossible may be possible isn't very useful.

ElfNet Gaming When you use the word theory as if it were a bad thing you reveal that you have no understanding at all. In science, there is nothing higher than a theory and a theory can never become greater than theory. Further, we can see billions of light years away. We know that the speed of light is the same everywhere. Your argument from personal incredulity is fallacious.

ElfNet Gaming I mean, you really are funny with how confidently you display your ignorance, like a child proudly showing their parents an interesting turd they found. Bravo kid, bravo.
