  2. I LOVE the new LED lights. The old crappy yellow ones are far too dim to actually be of any use outside of a city. I've retrofitted all my cars to have them.

  15. I have a gas wall furnace that I control by manually sliding the thermostat lever. It works when the power is out, which I find interesting. Even has the extra feature of having a vent on the other side of the wall so I can get some heat into the bedroom as well as the living room. Sure wish I had room for a wood stove though as that would be cheaper.

  16. Why don't you just microwave the water??? Why get an extra appliance for no reason? An electric kettle has no purpose.
