  2. I have a gas wall furnace that I control by manually sliding the thermostat lever. It works when the power is out, which I find interesting. Even has the extra feature of having a vent on the other side of the wall so I can get some heat into the bedroom as well as the living room. Sure wish I had room for a wood stove though as that would be cheaper.
