  1. It´s not too horrible, but NOT CARING is a problem there. (I follow a Buryat group, so I know.) Not much money is allocated to Siberia and not much attention is paid to the problems there. It´s not so bad short-term. But it creates long-term problems - infrastructure, healthcare, unemployment. And of course being lured into the army and serving as cannon fodder. As a member of a small nation that gained independence from an oppressor, I caution against freeing the nations. For freedom to work, people need to be united in wanting it. Like Ukrainians. And we had a massive National Revival movement. Freedom forced on unprepared people isn´t freedom. Wait to see whether they create independence movements or not.
