  1. The shelling of Kyiv was not only taking place while Blinken was there, but also when Olena Zelenska was organizing a First Ladies meeting. Our Czech First Lady was there. I don´t know whether to be pi**ed off because our First Lady is simply lovely, and a paragon of first-lady-ship, and I don´t want to lose her... or to think "well, yeah, of course the Russian army would do that". I´m pretty used to that jolt in the stomach "what if the Russian army killed..." by now.

  2. It´s just Ukrainians who can judge that. From what I know, Ukrainians make a lot of jokes themselves. It´s human way of dealing with stress and misery. My country had the best humour under Communist oppression. IMHO this was one silly joke, but otherwise this reporting - apart from their questionable pronunciation of foreign words - is very respectable and professional.

  3. Yeah, I´m not exactly a fan of Russian but their pronunciation of Russian and Ukrainian names is like fingernails on blackboard in an otherwise excellent podcast. They should look these things up.
