  3. Totally agree, except the counteroffensive has not failed entirely. Some Russian Telegram channels are panicking about Ukrainians crossing Dnipro, numerous Russian planes, barracks with officers and logistics hubs have been destroyed, the Black Sea fleet is basically useless now. It's not been a success but it hasn't failed, either.

  6. Exactly. Also, it's good to remember most EUROPEAN wars lasted 3 years or longer. The situation is usually complicated here. I always wondered why some people thought this war would be over by summer 2023. Still sending aid and donating money for drones, and prepared to do so in 2026 if needed.

  7. It isn't exactly like the other side is counterattacking, it's more like Russia is attacking in the North and Ukraine is attacking in the South. Both have very small territorial gains. It will be interesting and very unpredictable IMHO.

  9. Yeah, it was unclear and very brittle for a long time but now also Russian channels confirm there's some Ukrainian progress in the south. Very slow, but it's still progress.

  10. And Ukrainians are resilient, too. The thing is that Ukrainians themselves warned against hyping up the counteroffensive. But noooo, some media didn't listen to them, they needed a big story at all costs.
