  1. Ru**ia does use drone warfare with 24/7 observation. That´s not the difference. Both sides are actually using a Soviet strategy, only the Ukrainian one is a newer one and a bit more modernized, focused on small units with some small level of autonomy. The difference is that Ukraine has managed to find a way to block all the Ru**ian electronic communication in the area and the Ru**ian system is heavily centralized with a lot of mistrust. Hence, it's not flexible enough.

  2. Putin will claim anything as a victory, anyway. If Ukrainians withdraw and send a message "We will be back"... Putin will claim victory but be very nervous, and that will be good because he'll be panicking and making bad decisions.

  4. Ukraine partly depends on Western governments for support. Western governments partly depend on their citizens for their support. A lot of citizens make up their minds based on overall impression and rhetoric. This is probably the first armed conflict in history where one side stands and falls with rhetoric. It isn´t a coincidence that they've managed to survive an attack by a much bigger country while their president is a charismatic actor.
